Dear DBC Community,

Our hearts go out to the families affected by the Los Angeles fires. We want to help our community by supporting those in need. Below are resources and verified organizations accepting donations.

In response to the devastation and displacement caused by the wildfires in Los Angeles, numerous San Diego-area hotels and museums are contributing to fire relief by offering special rates and offers.

Callie Restaurant in East Village is collecting new stuffed animals for kids who’ve lost everything in the recent fires. Bring stuffies to Callie when you dine and drop it in the donation bin at the host stand or buy a stuffie from them.

Bird Rock Coffee Roasters is selling their February Love Letter Blend. For every bag sold, they will donate $1 to the California Community Foundation: Wildfire Recovery Fund— and match every dollar raised.

The Los Angeles Regional Food Bank is working with government agencies, nonprofit and faith-based partners, and others to respond to the fires throughout Los Angeles County. Volunteer, donate food, or donate money to help.

LAFD firefighters need your help to save lives and protect property during this wildfire. The LAFD Foundation actively seeks funds to equip LAFD members battling wildfires with equipment and supplies.
